Ectopic pregnancy (EP) is condition when fertilized egg attaches and pregnancy develops outside the uterus. Ectopic pregnancy occurs in fallopian tube in 98% of all ectopic pregnancies.

This condition happens in about 15-20 out of every 1000 pregnancies. The symptoms are often pelvic pain and vaginal bleeding associated with nausea and signs of pregnancy. The treatment is by laparoscopic surgery and in some casesby medicaments (Metotrexate).
